“The PAX we’re building for the next Seattle show will have hottest upcoming games, panels with industry luminaries, and all the things you associate with the premiere gaming culture show in this hemisphere,” said Jerry Holkins, co-founder, Penny Arcade. “I have a soft spot for PAX West, because the show started up here, but also because it’s like fifteen minutes from my house.”
Working journalists and influencers on YouTube and Twitch interested in attending PAX West to produce coverage of the event can apply for media and content creator badges here.

PAX or Penny Arcade Expo is a festival for gamers to celebrate gaming culture. First held in Seattle in 2004, PAX has nearly doubled in size each successive year, with PAX Prime 2014 selling out of tickets in a matter of minutes. The first international PAX was held in Melbourne, Australia in 2013. In 2017 Penny Arcade announced PAX Unplugged, a tabletop focused show to be held in Philadelphia, and Powered by PAX, a new brand for the global expansion of PAX events.
