Big Smash Bros. Pros Heading to MomoCon 2017 (competing in big game tournaments)

ATLANTA, GA – May 9, 2017Smash Bros pros including ZeRo, LG Abadango, NRG Nairo, and Fatality (Falcon), along with pros from other eSports will compete for more than $15,000 in cash prizes during MomoCon 2017‘s 34 gaming tournamentsThursday, May 25 – Sunday, May 28 at the Georgia World Congress Center. Select tournaments will be broadcast live on Twitch via MomoCon TV.

Smash Bros 4 and Smash Bros Melee are among the most highly anticipated tournaments and will feature top players in the Smash competitive scene including MkLeo and MoonKat. Casting will be provided by D1, Smash Studios, MVG, EE and more. The Top 8 finals will be played on MomoCon’s main stage on Sunday, May 28 with seating for 2,000.

Other fighting games to be present on the floor include Mortal Kombat XL, Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator, Tekken Tag 2, and BlazBlue: Centralfiction. MomoCon was also selected as one of 10 events to host an official Pokken Tournament, with a $1,000 pot bonus provided by EVO.

PC gamers can look forward to competitive Overwatch and League of Legends matches sponsored by Corsair and Blue Microphone. Winners will take away over $4,000 worth of prizing.
