Telltale Games has announced the digital release date and launch trailer for Batman — The Telltale Series.
The first episode, Realm of Shadows, will be available on digital storefronts for Mac and PC on Telltale’s Online Store, Steam, PS4 and PS3 via PlayStation Network, Xbox One and Xbox 360 via the Xbox Games Store, for iOS on the App Store, and for Android on the Google Play Store and Amazon Appstore.
If you prefer to pick the game up physically, the entire series will be playable from a “Season Pass Disc” starting in North America September 13th, and will include the first episode, and will give you the other four episodes as they become available for download. Then, the series will be available to our European friends on September 16th.

My Take: I’m loving all the video game love SDCC 2016 is getting. This is the perfect time frame for a first episode, because besides Abzu, there’s nothing really big coming out that week.
What’s more curious is the September 13th launch date for the disc-based version. Everytime I look at that date, it makes me think that, maybe, just maybe, Telltale Games might launch Episode 2 on that date, but that’s just the analyst in me coming out.
