Yes, that time most have been waiting for, Red Dead Redemption now has a release date for Xbox One Backwards Compatibility.  Take a look:

 

 

So all those who bombarded the Major can now knock it off (or, at least for this game, though he has no control over when any game gets this treatment, so just knock is off in general, yeah?).  Oh, and there is a sale on this game digitally going on right now.  How lucky for us!!

No word yet on if Undead Nightmare (and the rest of the DLC) will also be included with this, but we can all hope if not day and date, very soon after.
