In a company blog post, developer Ninja Theory revealed a new poster for what is now known as Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. The game was previously known as just Hellblade.

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice deals with the inner mind of our main character, Senua, who is a Celtic Warrior traveling into the Viking heartland while struggling with trauma and psychosis.

Ninja Theory notes that all voices in the game have been recorded binaurally, which basically means that if you put headphones in, it will sound as though you are there. Also noteworthy is the way in which the actress for Senua can perform a scene live and have it immediately applied to the game world.

We don’t know exactly when Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is releasing, but one thing is for certain, we can’t wait.
