Hitman is coming in hot, but that hasn’t stopped developer IO Interactive from giving players new ways to try out the game. This morning, Square Enix, the publisher, announced that Hitman will receive a PlayStation Plus exclusive beta on March 4th.
The content is same as the beta that started February 12th on PlayStation 4, and the following week on PC. While that beta very much relied on pre-ordering the game, this beta in March only requires an active subscription to PlayStation Plus.
Square Enix celebrated this announcement by releasing the opening cinematic for Hitman, which will have an episodic release structure over the course of the year.
