Square Enix announced that they’ll be sponsoring a scholarship fund based off of the photo contest in Life is Strange, “Everyday Heroes”.

Just like the in-game counterpart, this contest focuses on “ordinary people doing extraordinary things”. Photos will then be selected for feature on the official contest page, with the top three entrants receiving special nods from Square Enix and Dontnod Entertainment on their respective social media channels. Finalists will also get their photos framed and signed by the developer.

Square Enix will be granting a winner $10,000 from the Everyday Heroes Scholarship Fund. To enter, head to this website and submit your entry anytime from this moment until February 16th. Entrants are asked that you give the photo a title and an explanation as to why the subject being captured is an “everyday hero”.

Life is Strange concluded last fall, with it falling within my top ten games for that year. Since the season wrapped up, Square Enix has been using the game to promote anti-bullying campaigns with PACER, even asking fans to Tweet to help raise money for bullying prevention.
