Techland raises price of Dying Light’s expansion and season pass, here’s why

Techland, the developer behind Dying Light, recently raised the price of upcoming DLC, The Following, as well as its season pass.

Here’s what Techland had to say, in form of a Tweet.

<blockquote class=”twitter-tweet” lang=”en”><p lang=”en” dir=”ltr”>AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT <a href=”https://t.co/xeC3w7wAey”>pic.twitter.com/xeC3w7wAey</a></p>&mdash; Dying Light (@DyingLightGame) <a href=”https://twitter.com/DyingLightGame/status/669552265846501376″>November 25, 2015</a></blockquote>

Techland originally announced a price point of $14.99 for The Following back in August. The expansion is part of the game’s season pass, which was originally priced at $19.99. Now that The Following‘s price has increased to $19.99, the season pass’s price is now $29.99, and you have until December 8th to get the season pass before the price increase.

Right now, the “Ultimate Edition”, which includes the game and the season pass, is $39.99 on Steam right now, while Wal-Mart has the physical base game at $19.99 for PS4 & Xbox One.
