I never asked for this.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has been delayed. Originally slated to release on February 23rd, 2016, the game will hit shelves and hard drives on August 23rd, 2016.
In a developer update, Eidos-Montreal’s head of studio, David Anfossi, has suggested that the purpose of this delay is for fine-tuning.
“As we are now playing through the game in full,” Anfossi wrote, “we can see that it will require more time in post-production for tuning, iterations and refinement to meet our high standards.”
This is the second in a series of delays of video games meant to launch on February 23rd. Mirror’s Edge Catalyst was the first of three games to share the same launch date to be delayed. That game will now be available on May 24th.
