Five Nights at Freddy’s 4, the fourth entry in the indie horror franchise from the mind of Scott Cawthon, is now available on Steam for $7.99 on PC, Cawthon announced in a post to the game’s page on Steam.

Cawthon states “Ok, so as many of you already know, I’m bad with release dates, the game is finished. :)” Those playing the game in fullscreen might have some troubles, but Cawthon expects it to be fixed today.

Cawthon announced the game in April of this year as Five Nights at Freddy’s 4: The Final Chapter, and said that he planned to release the game on Halloween, October 31st, of this year. The release of the game on Steam and the trailer from last week are missing “The Final Chapter” subtitle, although, the Steam page, seems to think that this will be the final release of the franchise, so we’ll defer to Mr. Cawthon on this one.
